Why can I not sign in to Core-CT?

Possible Reason Solution
Employee is using the incorrect sign on page Please sign in through the UConn Employee Self Service Portal (https://ess.uconn.edu/) with your NetID and password
Employee is trying to sign in outside of normal operating hours Sign in between 4AM and 8PM (except on pay confirm days when the system is down) to have full access to Core-CT
There is no Active Core-CT job record for the employee Reach out to your department Smart HR Processors & Approvers regarding the status of any pending Hire transactions in Core-CT

I am a new supervisor, when will I have access to approve time?

The Office of the State Comptroller handles initial setup for time approval access. No security form is required for this setup. The timing of this process varies, but please be prepared for it to take a full pay cycle before time approval access is in place.
